SAFC setup WTF cant get certain screens

Ok so i got the safc1 installed. All seems to be working fine but not really.
When i installed the safc i first initialized it so it cleared everything out. Fine. I go to start to set it up and it is already on 6 cylinder with the arrow /. So i go to set the type of sensor as a hotwire like this

i dont get the above readout, It goes straight to this readout

So im not able to set it as a hotwire!!!! What am i doing wrong. Is it broken or am i dumb.

Another thing is the display that reads how into the throttle you are i think is off. i wasnt to the floor tonight but it said i was 100% in the throttle. Now Essential1 said get in to throttle dispaly under monitor and wait 10 seconds then holdthe throttle down and it will calculate itself. I did this and sat there for 2 minutes and the throttle constantly said 0.0%. What am i doing wrong

The other problem is when i go to monitor and it has the 1234 channels you can view, i get into it and it has these displays (below) to monitor except the afl and karmen are replaced with VTi and VTo. I have no idea how to change it so i can read the afl.

Im trying to figure this out and i have played around with it so much today that i dont know what else to do. Essential1 was helping me but i just cant get to where i need to go in each display.

Please somebody help because i am regretting quickly buying this thing

Thanks for anyones help

^^^^^^^^Those were just pics i got online to show the screens i couldnt get. I have the SAFC1 or should i say VAFC1 read on

So i just figured out what the problem was. The kid i bought it off looked like a dirtbag but i thought nothing to much of it cause the case looks good and all. I never noticed it before today but when i turn on the car the main screen on the unit says Vtec AFC. I also just for ***** and giggles looked up the VAFC wiring diagram and manual and there it is. The same exact screens and everything. SO im sure the kid had a vafc and put it in a SAFC case. So f'ing pissed right now. Now the listing on craigslist is off and he isnt answering the texts.
It works "fine" now that i know i have a VAFC instead of the SAFC i wanted.

The S/VAFC2 just has more tuning points, is the only difference.

i was thinking of selling this. THe thing is a have the BBMAF all set to go and from what ive read the vafc isnt able to control the difference so ppl nmex have said the safc1/2 is better in this regard. Well ill sell my VAFC and see if i can get the safc2

Correct. SAFC II is better for tuning a big MAF. VAFC II is better if you want more tuning points (24 vs 12).
