Projector Headlight *Update

Previously i mentioned opening headlight and painting the housing white after finially recieving the headlights im not sure if i still want to open them they look nice as it is.

My question is for anyone who has opened these headlights:

How easy was it, was it a pain, could anything go seriously wrong. Is it worth the risk of damaging $300 equipment. Although i will in the future do as Phxblue did with the retrofit. And if anyone knows the bulbs #s for the 2 amber bulbs in the headlights. I know that there is a H1 and h3 but im not sure what the other ones are or even better yet a paint that i can use to chrome these.

Well, i used white bulbs.. you can find white bulbs anywhere without the yellow, the yellow they come with is disgusting.

Don't be a pu$$y. Many peeps, including myself, opened up $1300 headlights to clear them and install DDE. lol...

i didnt open mine, yesterday i did the wires, is it a good idea to just ground them to the car, or you think i should use the negative connection that the stock wiring comes with?

I wish i was a 2k2, you already have the H.I.D lights just clear them out and be happy! In fact isnt there a slight gap with the final install anyway. to answer your question i'm not sure about the wiring.
Unless they got stolen then my sympathies. They are great lights to replace 2k headlights and if youve been a victim then they are a cheaper alternative, but they in no way compare to the 2k2 lights unless you retrofit them.
