Visited my local Nissan dealership today, and wasn't very happy when the parts guy informed my of the 2001 Anniversary Edition aero kit pricing. Here it goes:

Front spoiler skirt (each) $ 403.00
Side skirts (each) $ 385.00
Rear valence skirt (each) $ 445.00

In case you failed Math 101, that's $1,618 freakin bux!

"WOW!" is right! Good luck sellin' those kits Nissan, yeah right...Hello Stillen!!!

P.S. Don't forget to paint em, cuz the above pricing doesn't include that either, I don't think. Peace out.

I heard the AE kit comes pre-painted. I could be wrong. If it does, the cost is justifiable, if you want to go that route versus aftermarket, such as Stillen.

Did you get the part numbers? Could David Burnette (South Point Nissan) do better?

I talked to Dave at southpoint last week about the AE KIt. The prices that you just quoted were for replacements for wrecked AE's. When I talked to Dave, he said that the kit won't be out until later...And he doesn't know exactly when. They are having problems at the factory installing the AE kit on AE cars, so they figured if they were having problems then we would have bigger problems installing them. He had the prices of individual pieces for wrecked AE's but not for people wanting to just get the AE kit.

When I purchased my SE in December, I asked the dealer about adding the AE kit (I wanted an AE car in 5sp, but couldn't quite afford the $30k for a loaded car...) and was told that they could get it for me for $1100. I have yet to give them the go ahead because I wasn't sure about the price, or if I wanted to spend the $$$. I also believe that the kit comes pre-painted to match your car...

You're right. The prices I was quoted and posted were for each individual part, as if it had been damaged and needed to be replaced. I'll have to have a chat with Dave to find out the real deal, but that won't be for a bit, cuz I'll need to install the Stillen FSTB and RSB, Eibach Pro-Kit, and Tokico package first. That would be sweet if they came prepainted, I'm just not sure if I want them in a color that matches the rest of my car, I'm thinkin of 2-tonin' it. Either Sterling Mist or White Pearl on my SuperBlack.
