I'm going to be replacing my clutch and in looking at the instructions on motorvate, I note that I'll probably need a clutch alignment tool.

What exactly is this tool? Is it a nissan specific tool? Where can I get it?

Incidentally, the JWT clutch kit does not come with any installation instructions - unlike the act kit.

You can pick up a generic one at any place that sell tools. All this tool does is align the clutch disk up perfectly to the pressure plate.

Quick question, How did you get your timeing to 17 degrees btc?

I got a nissan tech to do it for me. Unbelieveably, my battery died while he was doing it.

From my past experiences with JWT PPlates- they are just Exedy Heavy Duty pressure plates. I was quoted 300 bux for one when I needed one. Got a whole ACT kit for 260. Thanx, but no thanx. I might have one of these tools layin in my tool box, can send it to ya if U would like it- If I have 2 that is.
