Pull to the right while backing up.

I have a 2000 maxima gle and when I apply the brakes in reverse, the steering wheel turns 1/4 to the right. The car is also moving to the right when I'm going forward. Could this be a alignment issue? Tire pressure is normal. What could be wrong? Thanks.

if its just when the brakes are applied then its probably the brakes not gripping equally on both sides. most likely because one pad is worn more then the other.
if its with no brakes, then its allignment
