Actually the whole controller will be pretty cheap ;-)
still trying to keep it under $50.

it's like $10 for CPU, $15-20 for other parts as of right now...

i may have problem with original harnesses, but if i can't get them cheap.... we'll see. i don't want it hardwired. i want to be able to quickly unplug it in case i have to leave car at dealership or sth.

so all i need now is time ;-) and some ideas

my ideas...
- windosw up / down
- windows down 1" when too hot inside... roll up when gets cold.
- headlights stay on for xx secs. when you leave the car.
- what else?

Piotroosh, you are the man

All this stuff sound so f*ckin cool! I love the snrf. tilt (w/ the windows when it getts hot).

Could you control the lights to delay 40sec.? I know there is another mod for this, but it requires cutting and splicing wires which Id rather not do if I dont have to.

Also, I like using the light sensor to roll up windows at night Could we use this to lock the doors too, or maybe program to lock after 5min?

Keep us updated and let us know if you need anything.

Yes, we can control light delay. the mod you are talking about was useless for me cause it works only if you have lights in ON position.. does not work for AUTO.
And yes it is possible to auto lock doors after a while... but i'm working on decoding immobilis(z)er signals, so it will not lock doors when you leave a key inside.. (anybody knows whats the range of that prox. sensor?) plenty of other features will be available also ;-) if you guys have any ideas or dreams.... post them. Something may seem like impossible, but it may be very easy to implement.

I have my windows rolling up and down on my 01. It also has a remote start connected to the factory keyless entry. I press the lock button 2 times and the windows roll up. 3 times, the car starts (5 speed none the less). 4 times and the windows roll down. I did cost a bit more than 50 dollars. I got 2 four window roll down and a DEI channel expander. I am only using 3 of the 6 extra channels that this module gives you.

The horn does beep everytime I press the keypad but I could disable it if I put were to put the remote in silent mode (press and hold lock, unlock for two seconds)

DEI unit needs additional chip key.... it would get too expensive....
what i'm looking for now is a SECU connector. (wholesale ;-)
how many of you guys are willing to splice cables going to secu ( i think 6 or 7) ? i would love to keep my module as an external plug&play ;-) module... but without these secu connectors it will be impossible. i don't think nissan is selling these connectors

piotroosh-
working in collaboration with STUDMAN,
we recently noted that contrary to popular belief, the SECU connectors for the 00 are NOT the same as the 01

something else to take into consideration also
g'luck-

no it's not.. i just need time... my part supplier hac microcontrollers backordered.. had to wait over a week.
it's not like i will put 2 switches and 5 wires together and it's all set ;-) it takes time, rev-engineering, testing, testing, more testing ....

OK.. small update guys... prototype kinda works ;-D rolls up and down like a charm. i'm not sure about auto roll-up though... it will not have an automatic stop like driver's window (in case theres something stuck) what do you think? it may be kinda dangerous

The only question I have.. is.. where is located receiver for that remote. is it a separate module? built into ECU?

Yo good looking out!!! when you finished with this let me know, because my brother tried something like that and didn't work....
