Does anyone know where I can get my heads shaved and polished in Westchester or NYC area? I'm tired of waiting fro SSR to make us a turbo.

 

i have 2 heads. the one on my shoulder i take to IVY to get shaved and the other one i do myself

On a more serious note, has anybody on the ORG ported a set of stock heads on a VQ35 motor? Are the heads a restriction to flow, or will the intake and exhaust preclude any gains made by head porting?

Wouldn't make much sense to port the stock heads if the stock intake is going to block gains in flow anyway.

 

Wurf, You could always get your stock intake Extrude Honed if it becomes a restriction. Any head porter who is any good will have a flow bench to monitor/improve/test his work. They should be able to flow your intake to see what it flows as well.
