Screw removal

I was changing out my coils that I received today. One of the screws broke off while putting on the new coil. I forgot to use the new screws I bought. I did use them on the rest of the coils. How can I remove the screw so the coil will sit tight.

Screw extractor from ACE hardware + a drill.

Alternatively you can just drill it out, but you risk damaging the thread this way.

Another solution (if any of the screw is showing and you have access to it) is to dremel a cut into it and then use a flat head screwdriver to back it out. I'm not familiar with the area around the coils though, so I don't know if that's an option.

Sears also sells several different sets of screw removers. I've used them and they work really well.
