Hey, I'm considering getting either the cattman headers/y-pipe combo or an underdrive pulley for my 2000 max. I wanted some feedback from the guys who have this on their cars and how you like it/them. If you konw how much hp it added, that would be great. Obviously the price is 200 for the UDP and 800 for the headers, so there is a big difference there. Has anybody had a problem with the underdrive on their car? For those of you with the cattman headers, how is the sound? I don't want to get headers if it makes my car sound like a little CRX with a paint can for a muffler (I have stock exhaust right now). So just give me some input and our impressions of these mods/if they are worth the money. Thanks alot.

 

If you can afford it, get the cattman headers. This will give you a lot more hp than the udp. The udp really doesnt give you more hp. I've got the UR UDP and the cattman y-pipe and i enjoy both.

 

Get Cattman headers- they fit alot better, sound awesome, I would also get a Fidanza flywheel for it if that is a 5spd and U don't drag race it. I have one on my Max and its awesome

 

New headers won't make a Max sound like it's got indigestion and other stomach problems? I hate the burly sound some cars make. I prefer smooth and not horrendously loud.
