Engine Cover Logo
I have recently purchased my 03 and noticed a couple of odd things under the hood and am just wondering if these things are normal:
1) The chrome Nissan logo on the engine cover appears to be delaminating from the cover. The chrome is still fully attached, it just looks noticably "bubbled" from the plastic.
2) The aluminum on the engine looks corroded. Basically the entire engine, except for the intake manifold, looks like it has a white corrosion layer that does not come off with engine cleaner. It doesnt look like anything seriously wrong, it just looks weird compared to other engines.
For the cover, I am thinking that I should be able to get a new one under warranty - assuming this is not normal.
thx

The previous owner could have used the foglite film
Do you sell a film for the headlights too?

Was this proven to help performance? IE, did it really impact the heat soaking situation?
