any one changed your filter yet, and at what mileage?

Was thinking about K&N because the apexi is crazy at 120 bucks each...

 

I changed mine every 30,000KMS not miles.

30,000 kilometers is only 18,750 miles.

 

As i stated before,

Its cheap insurance, might as well change it frequent, hell i even change my tranny fluid every 15K with Amsoil Series 2000.

I do my oil change every 3000kms but now that i am on Amsoil 0w30 series 2000, i change it every 7500-8000kms

 

Every 20k. Get the K&N.

K&N. Buy it once and your done... Except for the cleaning kit which isnt that expensive.

 

The Apexi replacement filter is not $120. I have just the replacement filters w/ new gaskets for $74 each. $120 for that thing is highway robbery.

 

i know, i just checked your gd not long ago. I decided to pick the one of the k&n filters from you for 32 shipped i think. Do you sell the cleaner kit also??

 

Yes, AEM cleaning kits because they give you more oil and cleaner than the K&N kits. They are of the same quality. $10.

 

Damn...you are wasting a lot of money. Spend the extra money you got to get your fluids tested to wear and tear to see where you should really be changing them. It's different for every car, but at your intervals that is way too frequent for synthetics.
