Lug Nut Torque and Measuring the torque
What is the correct lug nut torque for the 2K maxima and how can one know he/she has not over torqued the nuts. I want to know if there is any tool that tells me this is it -- no more torqueing.

Nick Max -- Checking the torque as you loosen is not correct at all and I doubt you will get a reading anywhere near wher you need to be.
Say for example you live in NJ or NY or anywhere there is salt and crap on the roads. Over time the garbage may build up around your lug nuts causing them to actually feel tighter than they are. The break free torque would then be considerably higher than the true torque required to tighten them.
Just buy a torque wrench.
Actually I have never used a torque wrench on any car I've owned wheels and never had a problem (Jag, Alfa, Audi, Nissan, Isuzu, Ford, Chevy, Mercury, Benz)
