My friends and I fooled around with my camcorder last night for a lil bit and I just put together a few fly bys and drivin out of my street with some background music...nothing great considerin my friends aren't that good with using nighshot but good sound...if u wanna check it out i can send it to you ... my AIM name is Kruppa9 Sorry i don't have a website or anywhere to post the file.

This was just a very quick spur of the moment video to test out the camcorder..i am making a long one starting today...what kind of things would you guys be intereseted in seeing? (with the exception of cop chases and destroying my transmission of course) what angles etc...thanks for any input

 

anything but Hydroplaning/skidding sideways like they do in the commercials.. (OT: Why would anyone want a car that skidded sideways out of conrol?.. dumb marketers)

 

I've got over 10 gigs of car vids on my comp, so I've seen some sweet camera angles. Here are a few:

1. If you camera is small enough, set it in the middle of a quiet street and approach the camera in your car eventually driving over it(not running over it, obviously). It's a bit risky but the shot is priceless.

2. fly bys, with a friend taping through their sunroof

3. holding the camera out the window at tire levels looks sweet when you turn

Oh damn man! Got some pretty sick ideas there. You're right.... the drive-over-the-camera shot would be insane!! I'm too much of a wuss to do it though. Not confident enough in my driving skills. Maybe when I become more experienced, though.

 

I got many requests and compliments for the video i made and posted today...thanks for checkin it out guys...that video was really not that good and I'm well on my way to a good one...i have lil over a minute and half so far of what will be a 3 1/2 minute video with music and maxima :-) i did driving over the camera and some other angles suggested...keep on the lookout for it coming to the board soon...if anybody would like to host it PLEASE email me or respond to this thread...thanks a lot.

Ok i sent it ...this is the fourth email server i've tried... the others all send it back saying it's too big...i also included the first minute or so of the 3 1/2 min video i'm currently making...enjoy

 

One's in .WMV (windows media player) and the other is in realplayer, it gave me the best size file that I could upload, with the least loss of quality.

PRI 63 thank you very much for hosting these...the links do work now so enjoy and tell me what you think...further shooting might be delayed an extra week due to my purchasing a y pipe which will hopefully happen today...the video is 1:50 of what will be 3:36 (length of the song) and pretty much every shot after what you see on the clip will be driving...i wanted to get the still shots and overall view of car out of the way at the beginning while the music is slower...once again enjoy and tell me what you think. thanks for any input.
