Guys,

Does anyone know -- if you have to replace the ECM harness.. do you have to go all the way through the firewall or is there a plug on the inside of the firewall?

My harness that goes to my ECM needs to be replaced for reasons I mentioned earlier, and it's a very expensive job they say they have to go through the firewall. One would think on a newer car there would be a plug inside the firewall so you could easily replace that harness.

Is it wired to anything else behind the dash ? Or is it just two plugs? One plug to ECM and one plug to firewall plug (or engine plug, whatever)

Any diagrams would be appreciated, too, if anyone has.
