hahahaah i just heard my engine mounts today.. my brother pointed them out.. i could hear them now when i rev my car 500 rpms it's cool.. don't know if it's bad but cool.. never heard it before. sounds exactly like one the wav file one of the members have posted a long time ago.. oh well since my warranty is expired wut do ya'll think?

i was really bored so decided to check out the 5th gen boards..... Daniel, quick question, what do motor mounts sound like?? that puzzles me.....

 

I have checked mine out a few times, and they never made any noise like the one in the wav file that was posted. In the wav file, they sound like a chirping cricket....I would still try the dealer and see what they say. It may be covered under the 5 yr/60k mile powertrain warranty.

 

Mine make the sound but MUCH quieter.

 

mine too, but i still think it's cool. it sounds like a electrical part moving. like wut u'd hear if u hearda robotic arm move up and down.

 

So you're saying we have mechs under our hoods... cool!
