Suspension - Lower/ eliminate body roll
2002 SE -
-- Looking to lower Max about 1 inch.
-- Also would like to eliminate some of the body roll. I Don't want a super stiff ride though, this is the better halves baby hauler, it is just a little too plain jane right now.
--Also would like info on pushing out the back wheels a little bit (spacers).
I just tinted the windows and added a magnetic bra. Any advice would be appreciated.

Always remember that you have to add shocks if you change your springs(trust me). I say if you want shocks and springs you should hold out and get the coilovers that D2racing makes. they are 36 way adjustable and you can adjust teh ride height and the camber. I think we are going to get a group deal soon.

I think that setup may be a little too extreme for his applications. I agree with zoolyfe... H&R paired up with some tokico blues would be good for him.

If you just want to control the body roll better, I think that upgraded struts on the OEM springs could work well. I'm guessing that you don't want to loose any of the OEM ride quality. When you go to a lower spring, it has to be stiffer to compensate for the decrease in available suspension travel. In the end, even with the H&R springs, your ride quality won't be as good with the OEM springs. If you want an inexpensive strut option, you could try the KYB GR2 which will give you better road feel and control. If you want the best, I think the Cattman modified AGX's or the KONI shocks would be best. I've never ridden on the AGXs, but I've got the KONI's on the rear in my car and they are awesome.

If you get a RSB I suggest you get a lower tie brace to even out the body flex. Some people, including me, experience some oversteer on fast turns where otherwise the handling should be pretty neutral. Its fun but probably isn't the safest. I also agree that some Maxspeeds or H&R springs would give you the best ride. Definately pair them up with some Tokico Blues or KYB GR2 struts/shocks.

i have H&R's with Tokico Illumina's(set on 4 all around). there's a little more wheel gap in the front than i would like. i've only had this setup for about 3 weeks though so maybe the gap'll settle a little better. the ride is sweet though, i'm loving it.

The lower tie brace(front) made by Matt!
