brake light dead

last october my driver side brake light died. i had it replaced at pepboys and the guy said i may have a short in the electrical system. well last night i found out it was burned out again. i have had no problems with the right side. do i need to take it to the dealer to find the short or is there no problem and just replace the bulb? thanks.

Find the short yourself.....

Grab a voltimeter and test the wires at the end.....
