Drop resistor help

Drop resistor help

Is my SES light going to go on every time i break the circuit to the resistor.. or is this going to stop comming on and makeing me reprogram my radio stations when i clear it with the battery disconnect?

it is going to come on everytime you disconnect it. after you plug it back up, the light will go off by itself when the ecu cycles the code out when it realizes that everything is hooked up right. dont worry about unplugging the battery, just drive for X number of times until the ecu clears the light itself.
