Yes, I looked up drivinggear in the japanese dictionary and it means "piece of crap to waste money on" I'd go with Stillen or something. I've had the Stillen for 3 years now and still looks good and works great. The one on Egay doesn't look very sturdy and I'm not sure if it's adjustable? Sometimes its better to spend a little extra $, this is one of them.

I just bought one off ebay although its not that same one, and I love it. It's adjustable and very sturdy, and works great. I got it for like 24 bucks shipped. If you look at all those they are like 15 bucks to ship, so thats where they ar making their money. But yeah, if your on a budget, I say go for it, I have no complaints. Sometimes more money is pointless.Everyones got their own opinion though.

there is not poin in purchasing an exspencive strut tower bar.....they all do the same thing, and there is really no differance you will be abel to feel unless you put the maxima through some very awful forces. all you pay for is name, and looks, not fuction. so really there is no such thing as a peice of crap unless it was made of wood or something.

go ahead and buy it fi you want.

I'm very happy with my cheapo strut bar. Had it on for 9 months now with no problem at all. Spend the money on some good HP mods, thats where you are going to get what you pay for.

The picture included in this auction does not represent the actual item. The attachment point will be a full circle. I ordered this playing bidding games on ebay after going out. It seems worth the money but you get what you pay for. I have yet to install.

you get what you pay for, i see tha true with most things exept with strut bars. as i said above unless you are putting your max through some rediculiouly heavy forces there is no need to spend $150 on a strut bar, unless you care about name brand then stillenwould be the way to go.

they are really only effective with stock suspension, once you drop they become less imnportant cause cause your suspension helps with your body roll.

just go haed and get it if you do not care about getting a brand name one, becuase you would never be able to tell the differance.

On 2002-03's, with the Courtesy FSTB I got, there was some rubbing issues on the intake manifold when in reverse. Nothing some washers couldn't fix.

Are you thinking of a RSB? A FSTB should actually be MORE effective with stiffer springs. The springs will be pushing back harder on the strut towers causing more flex than with stock suspension.

I bought the cheapOTTO brace from SWA. I wanted the Cattman, but I cant spend that much money on a freakin strut brace at this time. I like the OTTO a lot though. I can feel a difference even when I am not pushing it. It looks pretty good under the hood too. All in all it was a good purchase for $50.

a fstb will not be as effective with aftermarket suspen. what does a fstb do? it stiffens up the body, and help create less body roll. that is what stiffer springs and struts do. so there is not as much of a need than with stock suspesion, becuase body roll is greatly helped with after market.

i would not think the spring would be pressing harder. the springs do not press against the strut bar, it presses against the the top of teh strut. no matter what setup youe it will still be the same amount of pressure on the strut bar.

It's a piece of metal held with bolts. As long as it's made with the same material..it shouldnt make a difference.

I have the cheapo and it works for me. The only problem is now my driverside window washer nozle isn't squirting any juice. Could the bar have caused it? How do I get that insulation stuff off from underneath my hood to check it?
