Coilover owners: step inside

I've been on the phone with JIC Magic for about 20 minutes trying to get some questions answered concerning the A2's. Right now I want the car lowered , but say inf a few years I might want to raise it back to stock height. Is it possible to adjust the JIC's so the car can ride at stock height? or will it still be a little lower than stock? Also how much worse will the ride get. I don't want to lower it so much that the muffler is draggin a$$, but at least 1 1/2". Last question of all the coilovers, which rides the best and has more adjustability? I know the JIC uses pillow ball upper mounts, but how important is that really? Thanks for your help in my decision,

Shawn
