I just ordered the 9 LED bulbs over the weekend for the front and rear sidemarkers as well at the front running lights. I'm so tired of my pink rear sidemarkers and burned out front ones.

DonGfun,

Which bulbs do you have in your sidemarkers - the 921 9-LEDs? Do they light up the entire sidemarker? My single LEDs only light the front half because of the way the bulbs are angled forward.

Anyone tried the inverted or wide-angle LEDs from Autolumination? Seems like the way they spray light out the sides of the bulb might better light up our entire sidemarkers. I just don't like the way the regular LEDs only light up half the marker due to the forward angle of the bulb.

Has anyone tried the 5LED Matrix bulbs that they have on the autoillumination site? They appear to have a wide angle of display and have some bright numbers on the specs, so it seems as though those might light the whole sidemarkers better?

Yes the 921 WILL fit the sidemarkers. I just installed mine not even 5 minutes ago and damn they are so bright. The red is actually red and not pink. I couldn't be happier with these.

i was using the 921 super white from autolumination but the light was more purple than white. basically they do fit the 194 slot with no mods necessary.

Ok

When you put in the 921's in the marker lights on the side...do your turn signals blink normal speed or ricer speed?

I want to put in LEDs, but dont want ricer speed blinkers AND I want a good light output as well.

Unless you wired your sidemarkers to blink they won't brink and if you did wire your sidemarkers to blink and then installed these LEDs you'll have to get some kind of transformer because of the different pull of current that the LEDs have.

One issue i have had with these LED lights, though very minor, is that if you have your sidemarkers rewired, when arm or disarm your alarm, the sidemarkers won't blink. However, they operate normally otherwise. I used the 921s for side markers, the color is deep and brilliant.

I do have my sidemarkers wired to blink. You mention that you do too...? How do they blink when "on"...ricer fast or Nissan Normal? Can I take it that "However, they operate normally otherwise." as that they blink as fast as stock bulbs?

Thanks!
Colonel
