Cattman questions??

i was looking at the cattman webpage and was thinking obut ordering the full ypipe to exhuast tip system but realized they only make them for 4th gens because they dont make cat convertors for 5ths gen.

anyone ever get the cattman Y, mid, and exhaust system without the cat convertor?? did u get a good deal still?? hows it sound??

thanx.

the reason cattman has not offered a 5th gen cat is because he has not been able to produce one that made gains. in other words, use your OEM. you prolly wouldn't feel a difference anyway

I've got the y-pipe and b-pipe (Cattman). I stayed with stock muffler because I didn't want too much noise. The noise is minimal, but a nice little growl. Fitment and quality was good.

I'm not sure about HP gain. B4 y-pipe I ran 16.01 @ 88.64 mph (b-pipe only). After y-pipe, I ran 15.905 @ 86.59 (not as much improvemnt as I was expecting). I did not reset the ecu after install - not sure if necessary. I can definitely feel midrange power increase, just not sure how much. Maybe after I've had it on longer, it will get better (it's only been a month). The sound is nice and it's subtle, which is what I wanted.
