Po420!!

I took my car in they pulled the code PO420. They said there is nothing wrong with the car all they have to do is re-program the ECU for like $270. I told them it should be covered under warranty, they said no. Is it or not???? I only have 57k on the max. Fed Em. is 8/80,000. WTF. I just want to blow that Dealership up!!!

Reprogramming ECU is covered under 8/80 Fed Emissions warranty. If they refuse to cover it go to another dealer then file complaints with the authorities and with NNA.

BTW, $270 at a typical shop labor hour rate of $70/hr is over 3.5 hours of labor! To flash a ECU! good lord almighty.

It almost funny how our cars start throwing the same codes all of a sudden. It looks as if Nissan had us on a timer or something for the codes to go off. I have the same code at 92K miles and my CAT is actually bad, Per the dealer. It will be replaced tomorrow.
