here is a LINK for DIY replacement of some of the power steering fluid. remember to use dexron III ATF. i know the resovoir for our power steering has a smaller opening but its still possible to find a baster small enough. like its mentioned, i dont believe there is a safe DIY flush due the extreme pressure of the system. i think my dealer charges 49 for a power steering flush but ive done the baster thing twice and it seem to be pretty fresh @ 47k.

FYI: I used a nozzle (small) from a house cleaning bottle and basically squeezed out the fluid at the bottom of the reservoir. Work like a charm!

i would use synthetic if i was flushing the whole system so it would have an extended drain interval but i just used regular ATF when i emptied the resovoir. its pretty much up to you.

I use a turkey baster with a hose attached to the bottom and remove the fluid. Then I fill with Mobil 1 ATF every 15K when I change the tranny oil.
