What's up with the lighting of an 2002 on your 2000.
Kinda poser like don't you think?
And all you'll do is give the 3.5 liter a bad rap. Someday when someone in a different car show you his @ss, he'll tell all his friends, "yeah the 3.5 Maxima is nothing big, I walked on one the other day."
Doing poser @ss things like that is what gets people to question "race" stories.

I can't help but laugh at people who place sticker on their cars like "Type R" on a Civic EX or other poser things like that, doing what you did is essentially the same "fakin it because I ain't makin it" mentality.

The wheels look hot though.

Anyone who is stupid enough to say "yeah the 3.5 Maxima is nothing big, I walked on one the other day." is not worth listening to. Regardless if they can't distinguish a 5 from a 5.5 gen. due to light modifications.

Chill.

I am sure that no one else on the .org has these lights on a 00-01. Please, the 02-03 lights are much nicer and even preform better in regular circumstances. I mean what is the big deal about getting HIDs lights and fixtures. I mean 02-03 people use the 00-01 SE tailights. Just CHill

Oh, someone has a problem with my car...let me just take off everything I've put on my ride and make this stupid a$$ happy.
If and I mean, IF that ever happens to you, go ahead and race them and prove them wrong. What's the big deal anyways, my ride's for Show, not for go. I don't race and I'm not planning to anymore. I've lost several friends in accidents, learn my lesson. Chill my friend.

They fit right in, no modification. I did though swap the infiniti center caps for my nissan GXE center caps. They fit right in too.

The stock tires, 225/45-18 front & 245/45-18 rears, that's how they come on G35's

What tint should I get? I was thinking about 20% Platinum Plus Reflective all around.

Did you get Front G35 rims all the way around or 4 rears, cause if it is two different sizes then you cant rotate your tires, right?

Car is looking nice. I love seeing white maximas with rims, makes me want to throw some on mine...just waiting for some $$$. I have 15% tint on mine. I wanted 20% but with a white car and tan interior, it doesn't look as dark. 15% is the way to go.

Driver72 - go f yourself... I can't believe you said someone is a poser for upgrading their lights and comparing it to putting gay **** stickers on their Civics. Doesn't make sense. I hope you have all stock lighting in your car and didn't switch out the bulbs for hyperwhite ones...

no when they try to race me cause i took it up a step and stuck a 3.5 and 6 speed with my bro in his 2k max. and what you said is bull. 2k and 2k1 maximas will take out alot of cars on the road.

Do you know how many guys add the 2K2 HID's and Tails How is adding HID's to your car being a poser. Thats like saying tinting your windows or changing your wheels is being a poser.

How can you compare changing out MAXIMA headlights and tails with MAXIMA HID's and tails to adding Type R stickers to a Civic The HID mod is one of the more popular changes the 2000-2001 guys are doing to their cars.

The wheels and drop look great. I'd say its time for some tint to really improve the looks even more than what you've already done.

In regards to the comments about the HID's and tails

Haha. Guess what? I'm thinking of getting '02-03 tails too. And guess what else? '02-03 Maximas don't even come in my color. The green will match perfectly with the orange, and my car will look unique I haven't seen this exact combo on the .org or anywhere yet. Yay for us posers

And don't think that if someone's upgrading their lights to a newer model's, they're necessarily "fakin' it". It's just a matter of personal preference. So, a major part of 5.5 genners have gotten smoked '00-01 tails - would you prefer to call it downgrading, or should we say they're "fakin' it" too?

Pablo, your Maxima is if not the best-looking '00-01 I've seen! Beautiful job in such a short time. Just get it tinted like the rest said and don't worry about going too dark. It will look gorgeous!

Well, the g35 wheels and the 350 Z Tack wheels are different. 350Z wheels are staggered, G35 are not. Only the tires are different. All G35 coupe wheels are 18 x 8.
I really don't like the 350Z wheels but hey, to everyone there own. good luck on your choice

Thank you. I am going to go with 20% Reflective tint. I'm hoping it gives it a better look. Thanks!

You make it sound like we're putting a GT-R sticker on our cars and calling it a Skyline. He is doing the same thing that I'm doing; making the car look better.

About the rims..... I was looking at them my self on ebay a week ago.

Really? I have a friend with a G35 and I could have sworn he told me that his rears are a different width than his fronts. I'll have to check that out...

Wow pablosal - great shots. Your ride has come a looong way! Great work so far. I like everything, but the drop and rims have really transformed the car.

Lumbee - Those shots at night look insane. I really like the look of the 40 series Nitto's. I love those rims on the dark color. It may be time for me to pull the trigger on this one and join the G rim club...

I am in Raleigh NC (new shopping center called Brier Creek). My car is dropped with Maxspeeds and blown stock struts. I will be picking up some Progress springs and Illumina struts soon though (thanks Housecor). I picked up my wheels and tires off ebay as well. The factory G35 staggered Michelin Pilot sports were sold on ebay. I replaced them with 235/40/18 Nitto 555's.

BTW, pablosal got me drolling on the G35 coupe wheels when he first put them on his car

Driver is an Idiot

How can you say he is a poser for having HID lights? You must be simple minded or soemthing. Anyone with a 5th gen Maxima would/should want HID's!
