I wouldn't. Cop magnet; unless you are willing to pay up (tickets), go for it.

It depends on the state you live in. Up in your area the sun isn't a major issue, but here in the South dark tints are a must. I see people with 15-20% all the time, cops don't write tickets specially for illegal tint unless they have another reason to ticket you (but again that will depend on your state).

My friend has 20% Reflective on his Jetta, almost 6 months, and no problems. I guess my area is cool.

Lumbee, I never asked, did you swap the infiniti center caps w/ the nissan ones?

Lumbee - Those shots at night look insane. I really like the look of the 40 series Nitto's. I love those rims on the dark color. It may be time for me to pull the trigger on this one and join the G rim club...
Thanks. I appreciate you & your website for the how to's and write ups which really help out. Keep up the good work. And I think your car would look bada$$ with a set of G35 wheels. PEACE!

Can't say that I like the wheel set up. Why do you guys want to put infiniti wheels on a nissan? Infiniti wheels belong on infinitis. Does anybody else feel this way?

I can't belive you people fight bout 3.5L being all this n that... And Driver72 race my 3.0L please... show me the almighty power ya packing with your automatic. I could care less what engine my daily driver has as long as its got above average acceleration and AC. Sometimes I regret that I bought my Maxima and gave my '93 SE-R away to my little brother... 547WHP in a 2300lb car. BTW the rims look raw on the car, nice drop. Get a AE body kit for it

You mean why would we put Nissan 350GT wheels on our Nissan Maximas?

BTW, I got Nissan center caps to make everything politically correct.

I think I kind of get his point. He didn't mean the carmake but the model. It's similar to putting 6th gen. wheels on a 5th gen. Max. I personally prefer G35 and 6th gen. rims on a 5th gen. Maxima 100x better than any other type of wheels. Now the rest don't really belong on a Max (and no offence to all of you with custom rims!)

G35 wheels on a max = ghey
6th gen wheels on a 5th gen max = ghey
350 wheels on a max = ghey
Don't mean to flame. Just my opinion.

Pablosal- If you like the look of the G35 so much why don't you go buy one. I guess you would rather look like a poser and throw G35 wheels on a 2k max. How about some SE or GLE wheels? 5th gen wheels on a 4th gen = ghey.

Maybe someone likes the stock wheels off a newer model Nissan over their smaller OE wheels. WTF is so ghey bout that ? Its not like we taking wheels off a friggn Hummer H1 and put em on our Maximas. GLE wheels aint anything sporty, don't be hatting cause yo a.ss is too broke to afford any kind of upgrades to your car.

I believe that he likes the looks of his Maxima and feels that the G35 wheels (which fit) are a good way to improve upon the looks of his Maxima. It has nothing to do with buying a G35. He has chosen a set of wheels that IMO along with a few others, looks great on the Maxima and for a really good price. I guess I'm not seeing your point where you call him a poser. They are a great choice in wheels, it didn't cost him a years worth of payments and they look great on his car. Get over it, people use 5th gen wheels on their 4th gens, 5th gen people use 6th gen wheels. Why does this bother people so much?

Verrrry nice, pablosal!

I was thinking about G35 rims too, until I saw how much they weigh.. then I got me some 17lbs Volks instead

Are you running with spacers? Isn't the offset on those rims 30 while the stock is 40/45?

They look sick on there though, no matter what any ghey org'er says... lol

I see you're new around here, so a little tip: State your opinion with some tact and common courtesy. Otherwise, a pattern of posts like this can and will get you banned.

brkbeat420, if you found these for $550 w/ tire, im sure you'd put them on your ride too. I think these wheels sets my car apart from many maximas out there. I like the sleek look it gives and with the drop, it looks even better. brkbeat420 = oscar the grouch

Yes, what I was going to say.

Well, I didn't consider the offsets when I bought them. I figured, if they didn't fit, I could just sell them back on ebay. I put the on and they fit right in, no modification at all.

Man, I don't know how you & Lumbee found the G rims and tires that cheap. I've been hunting for months and can't touch anything near $500 with tires. Let me know if I'm missing something...

Housecor, the g35 wheels and tires usually go for more than $1000 on ebay. I used buy it now to win mine. The guy I bought them from put 20's on his G35 and, I'm assuming, he didn't care what he got the g35's for. I guess I got lucky. The only thing I don't like is the fact that each tire is about $300 each and that's going to hurt my pocket when I need new ones or maybe I'll just go with another tire. Good luck on our search.

From what I've been hearing, a great way to find these for a good price is to browse the G35 and 350z forums. Those guys are upgrading all the time. If you think about it, how many guys on here are selling their OEM wheels?

Those guys are looking for a premium on there wheels ($1500+).

I found mine on ebay as well. Guy had just posted them and said they only had 50 miles. I thought this is too good to be true. I noticed he was local so I sent him an email (figured if he wanted $1200 for them I would at least save on shipping). In his email, he told me that all he wanted to get out of them was $700. I immediately sent him and email back saying I would gladly buy them for that much. He pulled the ebay posting and I went to his apartment to check them out. The guy was young 20's and just picked up the G35Coupe and put 19's on it. The stock wheels and tires were just taking up space, and the only thing wrong with them is that they were covered in brake dust.

I had Discount Tire pull off the Michelin Pilot Sports and put on 235/40/18 Nitto 555's. I sold the Pilot Sports for exactly what the Nittos cost.

BTW the offset on the G35 Coupe wheels is perfect. I had 18" MM Evo5's for about 2 weeks and they looked tucked like the stock wheels.
