Has anyone tried to make this work? Putting in the 2000 I30 headlights in a 2k Maxima? would it work?
any techies know? Or putting the jaguar rear taillights?
just curious

My rear driver side door is banged up, i am to depressed to even take it to get an estimate. But i will start up and start looking for a spoiler and i30 lights at junkyards.
And i will drive ON!!!

I had checked on this at one time during my HID retrofitting endeavors. The Infinit dealer told me 2K I-30 lights retrofitted into a 2K Maxima would be technically difficult if not impossible to perform. Also, the headlights for the I-30 cost about $550 per side (Maxima's are $220/side). If anyone can make it work, I would be very interested in attempting it on my 2K Max.

Sorry to hear your door is smashed. I also would be too depressed to even attempt to obtain a quote on the damage. Good luck.

i imagine they would work if you changed the hood, bumper, and fenders it would look sweet but who knows how much it would cost and it might look wierd with the i30 rear

You could add the I30 front clip to a Maxima. But after you add a hood, front bumber, both fenders, headlamps, and have it painted you are looking at at least $3000 if not more. As far as adding the rear tails from an I30...I think that would probably be impossible since the rear quarter panel around the Maxima's tails wouldn't match up at all with the I30 taillights.

If you like the styling of the I30 better (or the HID lamps) buy an I30.

he said the rear end of a jaguar (i'm guessing s-type)...anything can be done...and no, you don't have to change hoods or bumpers or anything...go to a body shop and have them mold the lights in...they might have to add a little to your bumper or to your hood to make it fit, but it has been done on tons and tons of cars...go to the local import show...there are tons of integras and rx7's with supra taillights or s2000 taillights w/ their stock bumper...you can fit the jag tails, too...if you wanted to, but just the prices for the materials will probably be around $500-1000 plus you will have to pay a shop to mold them in for you

my friend put acura cl headlights on his integra...they look good and the shop did a good job molding them
