Raced a earlier version, and won.

2001 against a pre-2000 model. At the lights, he fell 4 car lengths behind me by the end of second gear, and after that all I had to do was pin the gas when ever he tried to pass me. I heard his intake the entire time. At first I thought it was a Honda next to me. I hate to race my own kind, but sometimes the foot slips.

4 car lengths?!?
maybe he wasnt racing. i raced a few 5th gens and havent lost to one. i've beaten my friends auto 5th gen all the time but i havent raced a worthy 5spd yet. even so, i dont think a 4th gen would lose by 4 carlengths even if it was an auto. 4 carlengths seems unbelievable to me.. maybe he was'nt racing.. just my 2 cents

It was the previous Model. Maybe the 99. My car is not riced out, but his was. Sorry Pre-2000 owners, his car was alot slower, and he was trying to race. Im not saying all of them are like that, so please don't get offended.
