2002 Automatic shift knob removal
hey you got an auto, it does not twist off....at the bottom of the **** there is a piece of plastic you have to push down the plastic either use some kind of knife (but be carefull) or use something made of plastic, once you remove that you wil see a metal clip, when you remove that clip it comes right off. no screwing involved
i want to change mine as well but i only want to change it if this one fits http://www.sounddomain.com/item/MOMF16ESIL
I need to be 100% sure because i want want to waist my money
thanks

everyone says it screws off, so they must be right i'm the only dummy who thinks there is a clip, on an automatic vehicle at my dealership i have had to remove or push down on the plastic piece letting it sit at the bottom of the post, and then you will see a metal retainer clip that can be easily removed by a pair of needle nose pliers, then the **** pulled right off with no problem, but i may not know what i'm talking about seeing as everyone else says they screw off, hope i could help.....
