car smashed today- opinions on front only spolier

Guys I had a unfortunate accident on my way to work today morning ( now looking for a new hood on Ebay) after I took out 2 construction barricades on the shoulder in order to avoid a collision with an A6 that cut me off. I didn't wanna deal with cops or insurance so I'm fixing this on my own. I'm looking for repleacement for my AE front bumper, what do U guys think of this ?

Anyone know where I can get a CF hood cheap ? VIS ? Mine has 2 large holes in it and I aint got my stock hood.

Or get a 2k2-2k3 front bumper and put the MT lip on it. That way you can also change your grille.

Just wondering, if the A6 cut you off and caused the accident, why didn't you want to deal with the coppers? Do you think your insurance company would stick it to you?

If the guy cut him off without hitting him and he hit him he'd be in trouble. No matter if the A6 caused the accident, he was in front and is not at fault.

It really sucks. My mom was passing a woman who had her left turn signal on and was on the shoulder. This woman quickly changed her mind ran into my mom. My mom was at fault. That happened a while ago.

Anyways...

Good thing you're not hurt.

Well reason being is I just changed insurance companys and my insurance was no longer working for just 7 days- it expired last week friday and was going to kick in tomorrow.... I never once had a accident with another car in my driving history. I figured the construction barricades are softer- plastic, than a steel A6. I don't like the invader style hood, I like the smooth lines of the stock hood. I'm thinking of that CustomMaxima front end- but its not utherane. The AE lip is MEGA expensive- it comes in 3 pieces and when U add it up it costs ALOT... I got mine for 200 when I got the car... now its alot more. I'm thinking the Aero Lip with a stock bumper cover. I don't wanna deal with cracking fiberglass.... I would put diff fog lights in the bumper if I did the CM kit. Sarona, and touring by stillen are not my style. I am gonna add a CF difuser in the front later on.

other suggestion...ebay....i just got a brand new grey lustre painted front bumper for $81 (reemed on shippin, but who cares)...point is...i see a LOT of 00-01 bumpers on ebay for some sick prices. combine that with a stillen lip, and you got a better, less aggressive, and classier looking front end. i do not, repeat, do not like that full bumper replacement. i expected more from you man, tsk tsk.

and as far as the CF hood goes, talk to paradox-systems....i'm pretty sure he can take care of you on one of those....and shipping is not bad AT ALL.

I was thinking of the VIS hood, getting a group deal togheter as of this morning at work- in order to get shipping down to like 30 a hood. We are talking about a 10-15 hood order in like 2-3 days and then shipping em all out at the same time to save on shipping. BTW CF is pretty dent resistant unless hit with a sharp object to cause it to split... I wacked it with a ball pin hammer 5 times hard, just left a little white mark on the clear coat ! Killer for paint chips- why I got the hood really. I'm talking with DJfrestyl right now

Neither of those full bumper replacements compliment the lines of the max IMHO. Go w/ a lip.
