im workin on a new project for my maxima... putting LED's in for the brake and turn signal but i read that puttin your tail light in the oven for 10-15 min at low temp will melt the glue but this method did not work... i am wondering if anyone out there has tried to remove there tail light cover... please help... and also how to remove the yellow piece off the 2003 maxima... i am practicing using my old tailight i got with the car.... any help would be appreciated.

 

i dont kno how to remove the cover but i tryed to clear out my 03 maxima tail light, but i cracked it. the 02-03 tail light is one piece. so if u want to get rid of the yellow u probably hav to cut it.

 

yeah, you'd have to do some cutting.
it's not as easy as doing the headlights.

 

You can not unglue the taillights....they have to be cut (dremmeled) around the edge...ask Playero how he did it.....
