That last picture looks down right scary with all that stuff propped up.

Also, next time you boys are in Atlanta feel free to stop by and install one for me.

Yeah it was kind of scary, but it wouldn't have fell because we made sure it was secure.

So when are you guys coming to seattle to do my transmission? I've got some jack stands and a car battery you can use!

It would have been really, really, really scary had you had one of your helpers lay down and use him as a "transmission stand".

Y2KevSE: "Hey, come here for a sec."
Helper: "OK!"

Y2KevSE: "Now, you lay here reeeeaaalll still, and wrap your arms around this part we are lowering down. You are now the most important part of our team! It feels heavy, but it is not, it just looks heavy.".
Helper: "Alllriiigghhhhtttiii!"

Y2KevSE: "Get ready!"
Helper: <squish noise goes here>

The ProTorque torque converter costs ~$400, but you have to return the core (stock TC). I've heard from a bunch of people that Level 10's TC is made by ProTorque. They even said (ProTorque), that they made products for Level 10 when CalsonicSE asked them... so what products does ProTorque make? Hmmmmmmmmmm......

The labor charge is $XXX... where can you find a shop that would drop your tranny and swap TC's at that price?

So you guys don't give up 8 hours of your day for free.. sheesh. Last Q... considering how "strong" our stock trannys are, is there danger of a aftermarket TC killing them?

Hmmmm..... that is a good question. So good that I don't have an answer for you. http://www.protorque.com probably has your answer.

I stronger TC will probably put more stress on the drivetrain. But I don't know how badly it would affect anything....
