A little help here. I have a 2000 SE (auto) and I would like to get some performance accesories. I have the Stillen catalog. I'm not looking to spend thousands of dollars, although if money were no object, I would get the supercharger when it becomes available for the auto. Does anyone know where I can get a chip or computer upgrade? Are they effective? How much do exhaust bolt-ons cost, will they increase performance drastically. Any help anyone could provide would be great, thanks, Brad

There is a parts link at the top of this page that should help answer your question. Maybe one of the 5th gen guys can help answer your other questions.

Your 2 best and cheapest power mods will be the intake and Y pipe. You can get both for less than $500 and they add up to 20 hp together!

thanks, I took a look at the list above and I found the intake and y-pipe.

Can water get into the air filter if I go over puddles?

The only intake you have to worry about sucking water is the cold air intake (gets the air near ground level). Just get an AEM bypass valve to solve that problem.

That was what I was refering to...(see picture)

How about the Y-pipe, is that street legal, is the noise in the cabin unbearable?

Depends on what model of y-pipe you get. The y-pipe removes one (California version) or both pre-cats (Federal) to increase hp. You might have trouble passing emissions testing if you go for the federal y-pipe. The noise is a personal thing and has been discussed before. Just do a search to find specific threads.

As long as the car is warmed up, you shouldn't have any problems passing emission (you'll definitely fail visual if they catch you).

After you've made your car go fast you should make it handle better (or before if you're like me). Go for RSB, FSTB and Eibachs

What are Rsb's, Fstb's, and Eibachs? Does stillen carry them?
