This needs to be posted in the audio section. You can put 6 1/2's in the rear doors. They come with 5 1/4's, but they are in a mounting bracket. Don't put anything in the rear deck as it will rattle to no end.

you have to make the speakers fit a special way. honestly, nothing just pops in. i personally destroyed th stock speakers by cutting out the drivier at the surrounds and used the plastic bracket as the mounting bracket. i saw it in a how-to somewhere. ghetto but it works

I apologize for posting it in here , For the rear deck is there a moutaining bracket for ? perhaps 6'9's? and you think its wise to install 5'1/2 in the rear door instead of 6.5 .. and if i was to find the bose system / woofer that fits in the rear, you guys think its worth it to spend $ and upgrade car to bose, i would need a bose amplifier and a woofer to fit in the rear

thanks for the help..

you don't want the bose system, trust me. I've heard enough complaints about it on the .org. You can get a very decent system for the cost and headache of upgrading stocks to better stock. I use my stock deck and nothing else (line input converter to two amps, components, and a sub) because i park my car outside and dont want my crap stolen. But if its a must, you can look in the forsale forums under audio and electronics for someone's used system.

I am more then content with aftermarket speakers , my previous maxima had 12" subs kenwood / kenwood amp and kenwood speakers, i have my old amp / and subs, but they are really crap lol ..

i really want to keep my stock deck / now that component you are running is powering your 4 interior speakers and what about the tweaters? and for the sub , you think i should put a box in it or perhaps find a comparable woofer that sits in the rear deck of the car.

I am running some components in the front. They have the crossover unit so it splits two channels into four speakers (2 woofers and 2 tweeters). Almost all good quality components have these. I am running stock rears because of soundstage. I can barely hear them. Now if you want to utilize the fold down seats, someone made a box (for and 8 inch) that attaches to the rear deck. Other than that, just get a traditional box. BTW, I have two amps, one four channel (which is only running two channels powering my component speakers in the front) and another sub amp which is pushing only 200 watts to my one 12".
