Hey whats up all.... I new to these forums... My older brother convinced me to buy a maxima. 2000 Maxima 5 speed manuel trans. Im 16 turning 17 and got about 7grand to spend on the car for now. Just im confused about a few things.

I got the car at 74000 miles and now it has 80000. My question is wheres a good place to start but first a few things need to be fixed. I know i need a lighter flywheel, front breaks and i may need a fuel pump i loose horsepower after 3500 rpms to 4000 rpms. Plus sometimes when i drive the car wont take off with power at all times and it has nothing to do with the way im driving. BTW i also forgot to mention that when i do a revmatch then downshift to a gear while slowing down for a stop sign the car dies sometimes. Its strange. Thanks for all ur help if you can help me. Im just not sure what to do.

i'm driven a 200 max 5 spd to, i have abotu 72 on mine. I don't know what your problems are, but if your lookin for power some good mods that don't cost a whole lot are a y pipe (budget, cattman, stillen), a b pipe (many many companys), and a underdrive pulley, another one that costs a little more are headers, they are like 7-8 hundered a think.
