I just put in my new head unit for my 2000 and used a install kit from millionbuy.com to put it in. It looks pretty much identical to the kit from crutchfield. It looks ok and but the quality looks equal to the cheap price. I was wondering if there is any place out there that does quality kits that match the material around the dash and things like that. I'm basically just looking for a kit with some degree of quality. I might be wondering about something that doens't exist, but its worth a try.

Nissan Dealer, get the one for the GXE and it will match perfect.

 

In short the answer is no. Scosche makes a kit that only costs like $8 and is the color of our dashes, but it's just a shade off. It still looks good though.

 

The Scosche kits suck. If you go with a kit go with the Metra. However, you should be getting the one from the GXE Maxima for your 1 din radio.

 

i had the metra it sucked there were gaps on the sides and bottom i'm going to look into the gxe one though

 

The GXE kit all the way!!! Both the Metra and Sosche kits are terrible. I had them both until I installed the GXE kit. Well worth the money when installing an aftermarket stereo/headunit. Check out my homepage for pics!
