People who had the 01 auto tanny tsb done help me!

I need to hear from people with any 5th gen max that had slipping from 1st to 2nd gear and had the tsb done(replace solenoids and TCM). When you had this done did it eliminate 1st to sencond slippage completly or just a little, cause im debating on whether or not to go back to nissan to have it done again. Thanks.

I want to say yeah because I dropped 600 bucks to get this crap done. I had a bad MAF sensor so it was probably the MAF that whole time and never the tranny.

a maf replacement will not cure a slipping tranny. there is a difference between engine hesitating and tranny slipping. best way to test for slipping is stop on a slight uphill and give partial throttle. when the tranny goes to change gears, the revs will climb but the car will not raise in speed. hesitating occurs when you punch it and the engine waits then surges. luckily, my dealer replaced both the solenoids and tcm before the slipping even occured. the shifting is still a little soft for me so i have been considering a stage 2 vb from maximum tuning.

my tranny was totally done.. so i replaced it...
it shifts better now.. no hesitation or slippage..

keep in mind.. maxima auto trannies.. shift a bit harder than other cars..

What about hesitation? i had the dealer reset the ecu, car was purring like a race horse, after 1k it went back to being slugish.
