I have a pretty good idea now. I plan to order the front and rear strut bars and the rear sway bars.

Questions:

1: Where's the best place to get them? (best price I guess)

2: How hard are they to install (I think I could do it)

3: I know where the front strut goes, but where do you bolt on the rear strut, is it in the tire well or something?

4: How much do the Eibach's lower the Maxima?

5: Are there shocks for the Maxima yet? (Stillen catalog listed them for the 4th gen only)

6: Does anyone know of any performance mufflers that don't make a lot of noise? Do I just keep the resonator on then? Can I still use the B-pipe from the Cat converter to the muffler?

I really appreciate all your help, I am now determined to mod my Maxima since someone where I work got a Grey Lustre SE like mine. That sob. Thanks...

Answers to some of your questions:

1) Check the parts list (top of the main 5THgen forum page).
2) Front strut and rear sway bar fairly easy. Just installed them myself and I have very little experience modding. Check out paul2kgxe's website for the rsb install.

http://www.paulwendy.com/maxima/

3) The rstb - from what I have been told has little effect on our cars...it is probably not needed.

the rest...sorry don't have answers for you.

Answers:
#1- i would say avolon racing (hooked me up lovely)
#2-One of the easiest mods. to put on you kust remove some bolts put the braces in and bolt them down.although rear you need to cut a little slit in you insolation.sway-bar is a bolt up thing too
#3remove the trunk insolation and take out the rear seat and you'll find it
#4they lower your car like a inch to inch and a half(depending on wheels)
#5Yes try KYB or call avolan racing for the prices(see website)
#6If you want a higher flowing exhaustits going to make more noise, but if you have money, go get the apexi muffler with a silencer
PS:if your not a little mechanically inclind dont do this, bring it somewhere. the suspention is not something you would want to screw-up.if you are, then nevermind
