And this comes from a woman that has been around active sports people and models all my life, funny you mentioned Kate Moss.....
Grew up in SoCal, forgive my Kate Moss reference! Lived a few doors down from Tom and Nicole -- yeah, there was a marriage made in hell!

Okay, so where have you been all my life? LOL. It's not that I'm not happy, just not where'd I'd like to be. Yeah, definitely muscles weigh more than fat -- and I don't have a beer belly. You know, it's that 'I'm not in my 20's' thing' that most guys go through.

We better take this offline ... I just told some guy this isn't this isn't a dating BBS. LOL! Thanks for the encouragement, tho.

Great to see a woman on maxima.org!

Oh, and to make this relevant to the .org, I have a Maxima. Anyone know how to get big dents/dings/scratches out of the roof? Don't ask ... And, NO 'Ding King' remarks, please.

Just rent one of those Porter buffers from Auto Zone (I think), or get one at Lowe's. It's great for detailing and it's supposed to do a great job, which reminds me that I need one too....

Staying ON TOPIC: Is it the overall weight that affects performance more than the wheel weight? Like, can 50-100lbs be easily offset by lighter-than-stock rims?

His brother is freakishly small. He is 6 1 and weighs 125. and he too eats alot. but he bikes hundreds of miles a week so...

Yeah, I think I need to buy one of those. I seem to have a knack for denting/scratching the crap out of my car.

Wheel weight (or unsprung weight, no sexual reference intended), makes a significant difference in performance. 50-100lbs of unsprung weight can make a huge difference depending on the car/driver/hp, etc. The more you reduce your wheel radius, the faster you get. Messes with your speedometer, tho.

Overall, weight definitely affects performance, too. (Going to the Atkin's website now ...)

Damn! Even you're pretty skinny! Tell your friend to eat more, more, more!!! I used to be like that, but for some reason when I turned 30, everything changed. I was 6'1" and 130lbs. I started working out and eating right and the weight went up. Family metabolisms are probaby the reason. My mom is 55 and still skinny. WTF didn't she pass that on to me??? He/they ain't gonna get no girls if they're bigger than him.

Haha. I have a friend who's the most severe case I've seen ever... if he skips a meal, he has lost weight the next morning.
