It pays to be light...

It does. I always wonder to myself...how is my bone stock Max so damn fast? It just feels too fast for a car that can do 0-60 in 7 seconds. I've raced against some pretty tough cars (don't mean to turn this thread into a battle thread) and I usually end up the victor. I think a huge reason why my Max is so much faster than it should be is because of me. I'm light. I'm like 6'0 and weigh something like 140lbs. My cousin has a 98 GLE, he weighs 200 (6'0), and his car can barely keep up with mine, when in reality both cars are pretty even when stock. I think I should really take my car onto a 1/4 mile track and get it tested. I'm curious to see the numbers that will come up; and then once I get my performance tires on, I'll get it tested again.

/Rant over

By the way every 15-20lb of weight = 1hp, so the difference is there if you are 250lb going against 100lb ~10HP :-)

I'm thinking the exact same thing. I am like 5'6-5'7 and I am 150 and not fat. I don't get how someone could be like half a foot taller and weigh less.

BMI charts show that my weight is actually fine. I could gain another 15 lbs to be in that ideal range, but I have a hard time gaining weight.

I'm 170 and 6'1" ... still pretty thin, but 30lbs lighter and I'd look like a waif. Was that a word before Kate Moss came on the scene?

We drive Maximas ... what, we're all supposed to look like models? LOL.

Well, most of us light kids are in our early 20s, if not still teenagers. My weight shouldn't really go up due to the fact that I'm a woman, but most guys' metabolism slows down inevitably with age. I'm too lazy to cook and that helps a lot too, but the least you can do is stay active. It's not that big a price, and you won't need to take out your spare & jack. I don't

Okay, so you wanna come over for dinner??? LOL . Don't remind me about my age ... I get plenty of that from my friends. I'm definitely active, but that doesn't seem to help a whole lot! I spend two hours a day working out, but I'm still not happy with the results. Poor me ...

My cousin is 190 and 6'0 and he's got a whole lot of meat on him. When he reaches 200, he looks overweight. I guess it's how the weight distributes. :\

You're 6'1, 170lbs and you're not happy? That's a great weight if you ask me. It might be your muscles that weigh so much too and as long as you don't get a beer belly, you should be very happy with your body.

And this comes from a woman that has been around active sports people and models all my life, funny you mentioned Kate Moss.....
