Inken Cold Air Vs. Stillen Short Air Ram

Hey
I got a 2000 Maxima and purchased 2 intakes. I got an Injen cold air intake from a seller on ebay for a good price but the filter came in pretty bad condition. Then I was told I have a Cali spec maxima with an extra sensor on the intake.

My question is this, which intake should i use?
The Injen is a cold air intake that goes down next to the radiator.
The Stillen goes into the spot of the Filter box.

What do you guys think I should do?
Someone I met has an injen installed on a 99 max and says it does not really do much until hes in the high rpms.

get cattman or placeracing, the injen is now a true cold air intake because it is not outside the engine bay and still sucks partially heated air in

why did you buy 2 intakes before doing the research?

sell both and do a GAB.

A friend of mine has a 98 Max that he put the Injen intake into. He said it was great so I went ahead and got one too. I got one off ebay for half the price. However, the seller sent me a bad filter. I went ahead and tried to contact him for replacing it. He did not respond so I claimed ebay fraud. I could not install it since I am awaiting ebays responce on what I can do with it.

I got a stillen one, and already installed it. The filter is HUGE. The sound it makes it also pretty nice. What I want to do, is get a pipe that will go through the right fender into the bumper where it can suck real cold air.

Is there one like that? I think K&N has them, but for other cars other than maxima.

There is only one that does that and it's Place Racing CAI.

Hey, I just ordered a Place Racing Cold Air intake and it should be delivered within a few days. All things considered, I'm not sure if I really want it anymore, since I'm not too concerned with the hp gains. Also the installation was a little more complicated than I had expected (actually need to cut a hole in the wheelwell to gain access to cold air). I should have done the research first. But If were interested in buying it off me or want to work out a trade for your current stillen, jus email me.

I have a 2000 maxima also.

thanks

Well the search for new members is disabled, so I can not search if it was posted. I rather go and read posts instead of waiting for the right person to give the right answer.
