Is Brembo rotor "much" heavier than stock rotor?
Hi,
I just installed the front brembo blank rotors and Raybestos® Quiet Stop pads today. So far, no noise, good stop. However, I notice that the acceleration is slower than before now. Is brembo rotor much heavier than stock rotor? Or I didn't install my pads well?

I just put brembo blanks on a few weeks ago. I didn't notice any weight difference or any change in acceleration.
I think it would have to be a faily significant weight difference for the 'ol butt dyno to notice. Maybe your pads are actually rubbing all the time? *shrug*

You are right, I too felt the Bremho rotors were heavier and my accerleration was a bit tight. I don't know why that is the reason .
Anyway to check if the pad is always on the rotor -- with no accerleration the car should move fwd i.e your leg off the brake. Also after a long drive you may want to visibly see that the rotors are not red which would mean the pins are not moving. May need to reinstall and put some sync high temp grease on it..
Hope that helps.
