One small problem....now a Big Headache

Where is the best place to get Factory Parts?...More specifically Brakes (pads & rotors). I'm asking because Nissan and I are undergoing a battle which inturn will probably develop to an all out war about how my aftermarket brakes are causing my car to make the same horrific noise it's been making since the right front OEM rotor cracked last week, and in turn have cost me a little over $450 and two days of work. So now in order to get them to understand that this is not a problem with the actual brakes i'm putting on, but the actual Hydraulic system itself I have to get these damn Nissan pad & rotors, and spend more of my precious time and money to prove that I am correct, and finally make them get off their @sses and fix this problem. This isn't even the whole story, i'll post that later.

oh yeah, did i mention that the car is still under warranty???

any help would be more then welcome

The noise is concentrated on the right front rotor, but I'm also getting a lot of squealing from both sides

Hate to tell you, but this is nothing unusual. One thing you can do is demand that you be present when the factory rotors and pads go on, just to observe whether the noise is still there or not. If the noise dissapears then, well.. you're SOL, but if the noise is still there, demand they keep troubleshooting and in turn refuse to pay for the factory pads/rotors since they were not the cause of the problem.

Is this front only?

Do you NEED brand new parts?

I have two front calipers (painted Ford blue), hoses still attached and rotors (warped) that you can "borrow" for the experiment. Brakes only have 30K on em.

thats the problem i believe that I do, but this car is still under warrenty so when Nissan finally stops screwing around and listens to what I'm saying they will have to replace all of that.

Pads and rotors are wear and tare items and would not be under warranty unless there are some extreme circumstances (like rotors crack at 1000) If you feel it is the hydralic system, then you may need to bite the bullet and install factory pads and rotors to rule them out as being the problem.

Call Dave Burnette 1888-254-6060 and get the parts from him. Also, explain what you're hearing to him and he might know whats wrong, as ne may have already dealt with something like this.
