Rear Lights... Red vs. Black

anyone know why certain maxima's come with the

black/red and red/red lights?

is it based on the color of the car?

The SE's come with tinted tail lights, the GXE's and GLE's tail lights are clear, is that what you are talking about?

Tinted = Black
Clear = Red

Red vs. black

Tinted taillamps have long been a signature styling cue of the SE model, back to the 2nd gen models. 4th gen is a little harder to distinguish, but 2nd, 3rd, and 5th leave no doubt you are behind the SE Max!
