If you think about it, Cobymoby is giving you a great deal on the intakes. If you get the cheapo intakes from ebay, youll probably end up with a cheap filter. A good filter can cost you up to 50 bucks. So youll be paying 40-60 bucks for an ebay intake, and the outrageous shipping cost on ebay. With cobymoby, Your getting a great intake and filter, and cheaper shipping.. Youll be paying the same amount, you might as well get the one here... And am planning on getting one too.

Hey cobymoby, is your intake called Berk?

Berk Technology is the company. (www.berktechnology.com).

I'd have to agree with everything you are saying.

Jasonb1982: In this business you always get what you pay for. Just watch out with what you buy if you are on an ultra tight budget. I understand that people aren't made of money or anything.

Bryan

But I heard a lot of complaints about injen and how its so down low that some people have sucked in water... and That its still sucking in hot air. I mean, i think cobymobys intake should be fine for a low price like that.. Besides, how much HP differce is there between injen and coby modys intakes?

Jeez, 1827 posts and you still think that the Injen sucks in water?!?! Yes, the Injen does suck in water whenever you drive into a lake, river, stream, pond, or any large body of water that is at least 16" deep! Now how many members of Maxima.org have attempted to even drive through 8" of water? The Injen does heat up due to heat soak from the engine and therefore it is not a CAI.

What I have now is a weapon r intake with a k&n filter on the end.....
is there any difference with the berk??? doesn't look like it too me..
I was looking for the "injen" style with the piping that goes down under the engine not one like I have now that basically just puts a cone on the end of the stock intake.

hey, just because I have over 1800 post doesnt mean I know anything, it could mean Im really stupid. Well, I dont think that, Im saying thats what Ive heard.. and I just guess that was in the rain or something (like during a flash flood or when you hit those large puddles and water splashed into the filter).

I cant really say anything bad about it except for some occasional low end loss but it might just be me but only really when its extremely hot out. It took be a while to make it fit becuase the Z tube itself is pretty long. Eventually i got it to fit by running it torwards the front of the card just like in the 350z and the cone is sitting right next to the battery basically. Sounds amazing

as an example, everyone's heard about the horrible weather NY/NJ has been having. every expressway has gotten flooded. i've gone through my share of puddles in the past few days and i havne't flooded the engine. then again, when i see a puddle, i also slow down, roll slowly through it, or just avoid it. if you feel the need to splash the world, then you also deserve to get a flooded engine.

plus, the splash guard is in the way. it would take a pretty deep puddle to completely cover the filter so that it can finally create enough suction to travel the pipe up into the engine.
