I am going to be cleaning the engine bay on the ol' Max this weekend and was wondering how you guys get yours so clean. I am planning to use the Purple Power to degrease everything and then let it dry good and sray a good coat of silicone engine dressing on it. Is this how you guys do it? Is it safe to be sraying water all over the engine, and it's sensors and stuff. I have always heard that it is not safe to do this, but I have always cleaned the engine bays of my other cars this way, and never hurt anything. Can you guys give me any insight?
