New belts at what mileage?

When have you guys replaced your belts? I have 55.5k right now.

Anybody actually have any belts break on them?

I wouldn't put any more than 60K miles on a drive belt. The best thing to do is visually inspect them for cracking and fraying and replace as needed before you have a belt failure. I have never had one break on me yet.

I just posted this about a hour ago, but I had a belt break today! Lucky I was about 1/2 mile from a precision Tune that was very cool about getting the underdrive pulley. The lonly problem is when the belt broke it jacked up the tension bracket.

Belts are part of 60k premium maintenance, I would recommend it. I replaced mine at 62k -$99 at the dealer. If anybody needs a coupon for Nissan Dealer -$99 belt replacement, PM me.

dba1999us, sweet. Sounds good to me.

Should I just buy my belts from the dealer or go to Autozone or something.

How many belts are there that I need to buy?

changed at 105k they probably had a good 5k left. IMO changing belts before 60k is a waste. $119 at the stealer.

My belts were cracked at 60K so I had them replaced. Better safe than sorry.

Hmm, almost 75K on my belts, no squeaking that I know of. Could be worth changing soon though.
