well lets see.. we kan use some logic here.. well.. its like this...use the power to weight ratio... for instance.. celica gts.. light car.. 180hp.. even tho 42 hp less then us, well it still is really a run.. or we kan compare an cadillac which weighs like wut 100000 lbs with 300hp..... so it all goes down to ur own instincs.. and just pick which cars weight to power ratio you can take, which not. thats jut me tho.

you have a 5-speed... right? man, my cousin's gts always get about a car length ahead of me, until we hit about 100 mph. I NEED A 5-SPEED!!!!

MB E420 (I'm pretty sure it was that) spanked me one day. He pulled up to the line after I was there, so I couldn't see his rear quarters until he absolutely blasted ahead of me. Thought he was an old 300E or 190E. He was a gracious winner, though.

I've never been beaten by anything I've raced yet. But then again, all we have around here is Rice Boys that put coffee can mufflers on their 1980 civic with huge "VTEC" stickers.

The people with the nicer/faster cars won't race. Go Figure.

That's a very good place to start but there's a lot more to it than that. You also need to consider Torque, transmission gearing, weight distribution, traction/tires, and especially for manual tranny cars, the driver's ability.

Just my two bits...

The only two cars that beat me good was a Talon Tsi and a Z28. As for the Talon, his AWD left me spinning in the rain, and for the Z28, once we hit second it was all over.
