I need to replace my 02 sensor got code p138 and p139, bank 1 rear. Should i get 02 sensor from dealer , autozone, pepboys etc. or get a generic one and splice it in.Thanks you guys rock! P.S I guess the dealer needs to reflash my ecu too right. Im out of warranty so im paying.
If you go to any autostore you get Bosch. If you look at the OEM sensor it has Bosch stamped on it. Just get it at the auto store. It should have the wiring harness on it. It will be expensive but still cheaper than the dealer.
I don't think you would need to reset the ECU. Normally the check engine light should go out on it's own after you replace the O2 sensor.
