How do you like it? Is it better than the Cattman and HKS?Post your comments.

I like it a lot. The way it looks, the way it's made, the way it sounds. The only thing that still gets on my nerves is the rattling. Still can't get rid of it. I think muffler looks way better than most of others out there.

I debated Cattman vs. Frankencar, and went with the former. Frankencar service sucks serious azz. They didn't return my voicemail asking a couple questions and telling them I'm ready to buy. They didn't reply when we tried to setup a b-pipe GD either. I would be really worried if there were any problems w/the order...

How bad is the rattling? Is it coming from the muffler itself or the mounting parts?

Yeah I know their service sucks because when I got my intake from a GD, and didn't receive the stickers that I was supposed to get, I emailed and PMed them multiple times w/out single response!

But I just like the finish of the Frankencar better.

rattlening - it's there and it is annoying. It is fixable however. It's coming from the muffler area. Muffler is really big and is hitting the heat shield. With a couple of clamps it should go away.

How do you fix it with the clamps?

you use something similar to hose clamps but smaller over the muffler mounts/holders to tighten them, since they're too weak to hold that muffler

also I've read that you can get Nismo muffler hangers which are a little stronger and hold the heavier muffler better.

And no, I don't like Nismo - but in this case it might come in handy...

Pics please? Do you think I will have the rattling problem if I use the Frankencar w/ my GReddy b-pipe? They'll fit right?

did they use new muffler hangers? If they did - that's why, if not - then they must've used the supplied clamps

00MaxSE, IMO, if you use stock muffler hangers with no clamps - yes, you will have that problem. But then again, you could get rid of it yourself
